What is it like to live with a significant other?

I plan on living with my boyfriend by next year and moving close to him by the end of the summer of this year and was wondering what its going to be like to live together.

I have never had regular sex with someone and I know we will be having sex regularly so it's going to be really different for me. Right now we only have sex once a month because we're long distance. I've also never lived with a guy before so I'm a bit nervous about it.

Is there anything I need to know about guys as it relates to living together?

But there is going to have to be a talk on how things are going to go. Garbage, laundry, dishes, groceries, cooking, privacy, likes and dislikes, and so on and so forth. Chores. Who does what. That sort of thing is what you're going to have to figure out together.

Learn what's worth fighting over. No, the toilet seat ain't one of em. Remember that you're together, a couple. Not just two people sharing the same space.

I would talk about what each others pet peeves are and expectations. Discuss things such as finances... who pays for what. Discuss house chores.. who does what, who cooks who cleans the dishes and also have a talk about sexual desires and frequency... but keep the communication open and have a lot of great orgasms!

It's great we could talk, joke, and just spend time together without making plans. Waking up and falling asleep together. Long night conversations about everything and anything. Disagreements needed to be solved in real time because we lived together. Planning of meals, vacations, and work trips because at least one adult must always be at home as Drama Queen is still underage. A lot of aligning, compromising, or just talking and not making any agreements :D

It's a unique experience to get to know someone so good... so close...

Yes I'm not autistic but I definitely need my space at times being an introvert which is why I plan to have at least 2 bedrooms. If it's like you described, I am definitely going to like it!

From a independent women who moved in with my man... It's hard with chores living together, sleeping together, and other hidden habits.

But if your fine with sex once a month and never really want it then you will hate him wanting it so much. Feeling pressured to give it.

Well nope I'm actually not fine with once a month. The only reason we don't have it more than that is because we're long distance. I do want it more than that and I'm sure we'll be like jack rabbits at first. But I'm sure it'll eventually calm down.

I can't have sex regularly outside of marriage because I start to get religious guilt. And it sucks cause i love sex. But on occasion is all i can give until at least engagement. Shot Just marry me already so we can fckon the daily 😂 and yea I don't know about living with an SO. Most i’ll do is a week at a time. Then i get pissed off and burnt out. Sex really isn’t something you have to worry about living together. You’re both always there, you can have sex whenever you want.

You’ll have other things to worry about. Lining up your living habits such as sharing chores, choosing decor, grocery shopping, etc.

I have never done it but this is usually the ultimate make or break for your relationship. you're gonna be around each other sooo much and you'll really learn your partner way more intimately then ever before and they of you.

Yeah it definitely will be. I think it will be challenging at times but I think we are going to make it because we're both very easygoing people and not that argumentative.
