Is "revenge cheating" acceptable if your partner cheated on you first?

You know, eye for an eye.

To be honest, I don't think two wrongs make a right. I got cheated on and she did offer me to allow me to cheat back on her, and honestly that made me even more disgusted of her.

That said, I read an interesting about an husband whose wife was unfaithful. She begged him to not divorce her and offered him the allowance of cheating back. He took up on the offer and then pretended he was having an affair while in reality he just went to the pub to watch games and drink a pint. The cheating wife got estremely miserable and supposedly understood the pain she had inflicted on her husband.

Eventually he revealed the plot to her and despite this they are still married nowadays.

that's a funny story.
I have an ex that thought I was cheating on her. She revenge cheated. I honestly felt sorry for her when I found out (I always suspected it, but I found out for sure after we broke up).
years later, she realizes she let her trust/jealousy issues really mess up our relationship and I'm sure she felt pretty stupid. It was when she was in her early to mid 20s so I couldn't really blame her for feeling so insecure, even at the time when it was happening because I was a little older and more experienced than she was.

anyway, if you revenge cheat, make sure your partner actually did cheat.
(obviously my ex's jealousy issues were really bad. it's clear why we didn't work out).

It's only revenge if it was unwanted upon the recipient. For bodily health and life simplicity, I wouldn't take her up on that offer. Her redemption would be one year without sex and with one date together a week, where I have full access to her text and call history to check for evidence of her having sex. This would be both proof of her interest in me and training for her sexual discretion, without any confusion or health loss.

First of all cheating means that someone else was attracted to them “the cheater”. Also they had access to that person. Sexual Access.

For you to “cheat back”. You would have to have sexual access and someone be attracted to you. Otherwise it would be near impossible.

A woman would have a higher chance of “cheating back”. Not a man. not the average mediocre looking men.

and yes I would cheat back. Specially if it seems he cared about staying with me. If it seems he doesn’t care, break up, divorce

if it appears that he cares, and loves me. I’ll forgive him make him feel guilty. And when he feels reassured I’m cheating with 3 different men

Why do revenge cheating in the first place? I mean, if it was me, I'd probably just decide to leave my partner instead. And if they didn't like the thought of me dating someone else, then I guess they already learned what it felt like. Maybe not in the same exact sense, but it works. If you love your partner stay faithful & committed to them. Then breakups don't have to happen. If your partner gives you a second chance, don't blow it with cheating again.

I dont think so. Why lower yourself to someone else’s level. Keep a clear concious. Plus if you cheat too then their cheating will just be considered normal and not betrayal - we dont want to wash down their backstabbing behavior by doing the same thing

It’s really hard for me to even accept the idea… perhaps that’s how the husband felt about it… so he just left home to watch games to clear his mind…a good man.

I would be so hurt and have during the time when my ex hubby was sexting other women…. I never once thought of doing that back…or even thinking about sleeping with someone else while married …it’s just so repulsive to me.

I've done it. I will tell you that wronging them back doesn't make it go away. I was still pissed off about it and it didn't get justified and went away in my brain like I thought it was going to.

Probably better off just leaving a shit on relationship that doing more shit to sort of justify staying in the relationship.

Are you actually going to stay with the partner it they cheat if you get to cheat? It isn't as if that removes the cheating.

There is still going to be that problem and you would never know that they aren't being more careful now. I don't see a revenge cheat heals the damage.

"Revenge Cheating" sounds good a face value. but it is dropping to the level of the person who cheated on you, It happened twice to me me, it was more satisfying to me too drop them totally, cut them off from the support that they were relying on that allowed them to cheat, then broadcast that they cheated and with who they were cheating with.

No not really because what does that solve? It just makes a bad situation worse. Take her out to a nice restaurant to have dinner to talk it over. Then after you have eaten your dinner excuse yourself to the men's room and then just leave her there stuck with the bill and no ride home. Unless your a pussy
