The commitment, I mean the relationship you've committed to could possibly lead to marriage, well that's why people are getting into relationship, right? So this fear of engagement, is when we realize that the person we are gonna have a relationship with could be our partner for life. But you can notice now that the relationship is perfect, the couple get along very well and seem happy, being made for each other... but is it going to last forever, we start to doubt, and ask ourselves questions, like am I good enough, is my partner really honest and love me, is it too good to be true, is he/she the one for me or no...

I guess it's usually more exciting than scary but if there are thoughts it's usually just the thought of jumping into something serious as a relationship. Fir me personally, I never take relationships as "fun" or lightly. A relationship is a serious thing to me so I don't just jump straight into one. It takes a while for me to exclusively commit.

That makes sense. I’m mentally stable but wondered if she wasn’t I could support her while she’s getting help. But as you said maybe wait and risk losing her to someone else

Yeah, it goes both ways where sometime you can save them. I don't know just do what your heart tells you and make sure she loves you and not just looking for a therapist tell she's better iykwim
