So, you push them away.
But then time goes and someone comes along and you feel ready, not because this person is any better than other people you met before, but because It’s just a right time for you.
That was true for me. From 16 until my early 30s I did that. I was not ready to settle down. There was no way I was going to get married and I wasn't interested in kids.
By age 32 or so, I thought I had experienced just about everything I wanted to. Plus, I had a good job and assets, and was more mature mentally and emotionally. I began searching for a life partner with whom to begin a new chapter in my life.
I considered marriage a once in a lifetime thing; the most important decision I would ever make. So I was careful.
After a couple more long-term relationships that didn't work out, I met my (future) wife when I was40.
Yes. Relationships are tricky enough without being still so screwed up you can't commit. I've had a couple of times where it was potentially the right person but the wrong time. It's not a great feeling in the moment, but it sure beats the thought that things got so badly fucked up because you were busy being an asshole.
Once you push me away and act hot and cold on me then you’ve lost me cause I am not dealing with that again in my life I want someone who’s gonna love me and not be hot and cold on me

I believe people come into your life for a reason. So if you give them a chance the timing could match up perfectly. Women have a luxury of saying that because they have 20 to 30 suitors at a given moment. Men our chance comes later in life when we become more successful and wiser. Then I’ve seen women that turned them down try to crawl back into their lives. Then the men don’t want them and women become bitter. lol I’ve also experienced a woman try to come back into my life after she ghosted me and such. And got a nasty 4 or 5 paragraphs when I didn’t entertain her in my life anymore. Be better.
Sadly often is full of wrong places wrong times. Some may even say dealt wrong hands or dealt a harsh life full of teases aka pros yet with cons catches lol.

I believe there is a right time. When you feel ready of course. Me, I'm ready now. I'm ready to meet my future husband.
I used to, but not anymore. The right person won't mind. That said, the right person also won't mind waiting a little (but at that point you should just date probably)
If you are "not ready" they are not the "right person ".
