Guys, why would you do this?

I was chatting with a coworker when the guy I like walked past us and stared at us twice, even turning his head towards me and the coworker. I'm trying to figure him out but I don't want to ask him.

Hmm that is kinda weird for the guy to be staring all intense like that. Could be a few different reasons:

- He could be into you and gettin' jealous seein' you talk to another dude, even if it's just a coworker. Guys can get territorial sometimes without meanin' to.

- Maybe he was tryna figure out if you were into your coworker instead of him. We ain't always the most subtle when sizing up potential competition haha.

- It's possible somethin' about your interaction with the coworker just randomly caught his attention both times and he wasn't actually tryna stare you down. Guys do random crap sometimes too.

- He may want you to notice him lookin' your way as a way to get your attention or seem interested without actually comin' over to chat yet. Testin' the waters, ya know?

If it was me, I'd probably send ya a flirty little smile next time our eyes met, just to let ya know I was lookin' on purpose. But that's just me! Hard to say for sure what his deal was without talkin' to him. Just keep your eyes peeled for other signs he's into ya!

That's an example of male territoriality. We don't approve of other guys approaching you, but all we can do is glare at them.
