She may or may not know. It's perfectly normal for a child to see their parent with someone they don't know and ask who they are. You can tell her the details if you want, or just say that he is a friend, a neighbor, someone from work, etc. Just don't lie about it.

How old is she? If she's over 12 and not absurdly naive, she probably knows. Maybe if she's younger. Presumably you are not with her father. Don't worry about this.
