Is it okay for my boyfriends family to judge me for being to shy?

I met my boyfriends family for the first time for a lunch and I didn’t speak much cause I was so nervous. I feel bad for him and me. I have a mental illness schizophrenia so it keeps me from doing a lot of things normal people can usually do like socialise etc. Except his aunty messaged him and told him that she hopes I’m not offended by her which I wasn’t at all. I was more worried about my actions the whole time. Was she talking about me because I didn’t even notice if she was trying to offend me?

Oh I’m very shy and I was around him for the first little while, but we moved in together and being around him 24/7 made me feel comfortable
