My girlfriend is really interested in such clubs, but does it mean cheating to be interested in such environments? Would you let your girlfriend/boyfriend go such clubs?
2.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. See, this is a great question.
Generally, the concept of a strip club is beyond what I personally find to be appealing (either visually or mentally)... The whole "meat market" concept and the cheapening of the human body are very "ick" concepts to me. (To share, a few years ago I had a temp modeling gig for a women's clothing line; proceeds from the modeling gig went towards raising funds for a children's advocacy group I supported. Even though I knew it was for a good cause, I barely tolerated the process.)
As far as whether or not it's actually CHEATING... I guess if everything is hands-off, visual only and without any idea of actually being with any of the... entertainers... it's not cheating per se. But random interaction with the staff becomes linked to a "grey area" (especially if you're doing anything more than ordering your drinks). Any "hands-on"/physical activities can be considered cheating.

+1 yI used to be fine with it as long as I attended with him but now I just really don't see myself ever wanting to go, so if he went alone I would consider it cheating.
I'm not a huge fan of his eyes looking anywhere but at me.
Some say I'm taken not blind, I say it's one thing to see an attractive person and have an appreciation for them, it's an entirely other thing to sexualize them.
If he said "Oh that girl had such a pretty smile." I'd probably agree in a heartbeat but if he went "Oh that girl has a fat ass." I'd probably slap him.01 Reply- +1 y
Not like a hard slap to the face or anything but like, "Babe, are you kidding me right now?" and a moderate slap just to cause a little pain and have him get the picture that he should keep that to himself.

+1 yIt absolutely is in my opinion. I would never be okay with the idea of my partner going to a strip club. I don't care if it's for a bachelorette either. I've never understood that concept of going to a strip club or ordering strippers for a bachelor or bachelorette party. Like "Hey I'm going to be with this person for the rest of my life. I might as well free and wild one last time!" I've heard stories of some people even cheat in those scenarios and sucking the dudes dick or fucking the girl. That's nuts to me. If you need to do that, then I don't think you're ready for marriage and commitment. That's my take.

+1 yIt’s one of those things that’s not literally “cheating” as in you aren’t having sex or a relationship with anyone outside of your actual relationship, but it is something that many couples won’t be comfortable with.
Personally I have no interest in seeing strippers and would feel weird doing that as a taken man.
My girlfriend said she would personally enjoy seeing female strippers but wouldn’t like me seeing them LOL.

Aiming to unravel the mysteries of love and desire here! Ah, the steamy question of whether dancing around the flirtatious flames of a strip club counts as cheating. It’s all about boundaries, darling. If you and your girlfriend communicate openly and honestly about what you're comfortable with, then you're doing love right. Some couples might find it thrilling to explore such environments together, embracing the sizzle as a form of mutual adventure, while others might see it as a red flag waving in the wind.
So, would I let my significant other indulge in a night out at the club of sparkle and skin? Well, it’s not so much about allowing, as it is about trusting and understanding each other’s desires and limits. Establish those boundaries, communicate your comfort levels, and remember—keeping the conversation sexy and respectful is key to navigating the neon-lit paths of strip club inquiries. 💫✨00 Reply

20 Reply 4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. It is if your partner isn’t accepting of it , and finds it to be disrespectful. Especially if your partner isn’t doing the same to you. So it needs to go both ways for it to be accepted.

1 yI look as good as they do and I am blessed with another coveted trait as well, everything is top 1%-5% but my hair and I’m beginning to look my age in the face. But, I wouldn’t get jealous because its more than likely her girlfriends dragged the type of woman I like there and it wouldn’t have been her choice anyways. She has that at home.
If you aren’t a looker its kinda a cucked move if your woman is the one forcing her gfs to go there. If a guy is comfortable with his wife or longterm girlfriend going there willingly and enjoying it, he’s not being honest or the relationship is a joke.

+1 yNo. Not at all. Woman can have high drives too. Just think about it. Who does she come back home to when all stirred up? Bond is built through trust and if you don't trust her why are you with her to begin with? Let her have her fun then enjoy when she comes home.

Something is only cheating if you can pay for it. And handing out bills as a tip is not the same as paying.

What?
Did you read this question?
She wants to visit strip clubs for entertainment. - +1 y
It is true as I meant it as a description definition of cheating itself.
If you were cheated on it became cheating when she kissed him, etc. as if you want to kiss an escort you have to pay a lot more. - +1 y
@dustybiker2 I totally agree with what you are saying and it's true.
As i work in strip club i see lot of women daily - +1 y
Yes. Its basic enticement is entertainment.
I think it's all about boundaries and trust. It is not necessarily cheating, but it's important to discuss how you both feel about it. For some couples, it's harmless fun; for others, it feels like crossing a line. If my partner wanted to go, I'd want to understand their interest and make sure we're both comfortable. Open communication is key. Personally, I'd be okay with it if we were both on the same page and respected each other's feelings. Every relationship is different, so find what works for you.

+1 yPersonally, if I am really in love, I wouldn't even think about going in a strip club. 🫣 Why would I feel the need to look at other people's body, if I already have someone special? Or maybe it's just me.
But yeah, in these modern times.. people have different beliefs now. 😶 If you don't like the idea, be firm with your boundaries. It is up to her if she respects that. Do not be afraid to say "NO".

+1 yDepends on your relationship and boundaries.
For some it won't be, for others even the thought is bad enough.
If you and your girlfriend talk like adults and communicate what you both consider the boundaries of the relationship, then you can figure that out.11 Reply- +1 y
@provokeesmokee
Totally agree,
It might be beneficial to have an honest discussion about your boundaries and sentiments if your girlfriend is interested in attending to a strip club but you're not sure how you feel about it. While some would find it harmless entertainment, others could find the concept disturbing.
Depending on our relationship dynamics and level of trust, I would let my boyfriend or girlfriend attend these kinds of clubs.
00 ReplyI don't necessarily consider it cheating for me personally, and I think I'd question why a partner would want to (it's definitely not my thing), but personally I think this falls under the heading of "things couples need to determine between themselves", so you should probably have an honest conversation with her about it, so that she can understand you hesitancy and so that, if it's important enough to her to insist upon, you can get some personal reassurance.

+1 yI'm in an open relationship, so I never have to cheat. Personally, I don't go to strip clubs as I think they're a waste of time and certainly a waste of money. As to cheating, that's determined by your partner's idea of what cheating means!! I've known women who think strip clubs are, and women who don't. I've known women who think her boyfriend having a simple conversation with another woman is cheating!! Who knows?

Women LOVE exotic clubs, they just want you to go with them. And 99% of the time, they will want to see women. (their competition) Take that to the bank.

1 yif it's done in secret, yes.
If there is lot of physical contact, yes.
If one partner expresses his/her disapproval and the other partner still goes, yes
Even if there's no sex, it's dishonest and disrespectful to the partner.

+1 yI went to the club a while ago. I met a guy there (yes, we meet guys there too, GIRLS), and we were talking about how whenever he goes, the wife is OK with it BUT, he'll be sleeping on the couch that night
You can't control what people do. You can only control what you do to them, once they've done it
00 Reply6.8K opinions shared on Relationships topic. It means going to strip clubs. To me, cheating is physical intimacy that could lead to STD transmission or pregnancy. It's not cheating to me. But each couple has to decide what is acceptable. I have been to strip clubs. My wife doesn't care.
00 Replyas long as there is no physical contact with strippers it's not cheating but it's a very big red flag (and sign she might be cheating on you or could in the future)
10 Replyin my opinion if you touch any of the strippers, it's cheating. Some conversations COULD be cheating, like if you're sex talking each other. But looking isn't cheating so just going is okay.

For the last part, I wouldn't divorce my wife for going to one, assuming it's a rare event for a special occasion. If she spends every weekend in the strip clubs, I'll end the relationship. If she touches them, I'll end it. If she sex talks them, I'll end it. There is no "allowing" it. It's just a matter of what I'll divorce over and what I won't divorce over.
