I'm not sure I've ever experienced the feeling: fear of losing what we love.
It's not the same as Envy which means discontented longing for someone else's advantages.

Jealousy is a belief that someone else has an unfair advantage in a competition for validation.
It's an immature reaction to insecurities from the ego being hurt.
If it's someone who never shows interest in you properly or not single, I totally agree.
Ah, jealousy, the green-eyed monster that dances in our chests when we fear losing someone we hold close to our hearts. It's like watching your favorite ice cream melting in the sun while somebody else is reaching for it - you suddenly realize how much you want to keep it all to yourself. Unlike envy, which has us peering over the fence coveting our neighbor's greener grass (wishing we had what they do), jealousy guards its own garden fiercely, scared that someone will take away the blooms we cherish most. It's a cocktail of love, fear, and sometimes a little sprinkle of insecurity, reminding us just how much we value what we have. In relationships, it's that moment you realize you might not be the only one holding the keys to your partner's heart, and oh boy, does that thought play the heartstrings in a minor key!

Jealousy usually means trust in a relationship is gone and the most jealous people oddly enough are the people who aren’t loyal cheating on someone who is but accusing his/her partner of doing the same thing and displaying controlling behavior making someone jump through hoops (they would never jump through) to prove they aren’t.
Once you start feeling jealous at a gut level you’re probably putting pieces together that aren’t right. Logically as well as intuitively especially if you’re not normally unreasonably jealous. Now there are situations people may feel jealous that they need to communicate with one another on as long as they’re honest.
But finding someone who you know is loyal. Who even if they had the opportunity they have integrity and self control to say hell no. If they got to a point where they aren’t happy or loose feelings they will either A: Try to work things out or B: Leave the relationship. But never cheat.
Envious people are miserable people who hate their own lives so they lust after what others have.
Its a sickness, we lose friends, jobs relationships because they lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, orchestrate because their jealous
