Not necessarily. if a certain girl gets a guy that you don't really have feelings for or care that much about, but you cannot stand that girl. You could feel feelings of jealousy because the girl you cannot stand is happy, while possibly you are not. Jealousy is a feeling of resentment that somebody has something that you want. That may not necessarily be one specific man, it could in fact just be that they have any man. Jealousy is more reflection of your unhappiness than someone else's having something that you want. by working on yourself, your own self-esteem, and your own self worth, you may start to see those feelings of jealousy diminish.
