My friends girlfriend of 6 years just broke up with him because she realized she’s a lesbian. I mean there were other reasons too but that was the main reason.

And most of us aren’t surprised lol she gives major lesbian vibes. And she's also said “im gay, [my friend] is the only man im attracted to”

My best friend's last two exes (one being her now ex-husband) turned out to be gay. Her ex husband was in some like dystopian level denial, but the boyfriend before him had a friend group, which she hung around with too, where literally everyone in the group was gay. Everyone. Sure you can be the one straight person, I mean there are plenty of friend groups that have that one gay friend, but I knew he was gay the day I first met him and she originally tried to hook me up with him. I was like, are you serious, this guy? THIS guy?!? I flat out rejected him and she went on to date him and well, I was 100% right.

No. One of my turn ons is that silent burning look a man gives you when you've impressed them and they are really getting attracted to you. Gay men can't fake that look of desire. Bi men could. Especially before the spark wears off, because of broken trust or what have you. But, no. Never.

This is not happened to me but it has happened to many of my male friends. I think it is statistically more likely to happen to men as opposed to women, but I don't know that for sure. It would be very interesting to study this. I think women in general are more fluid sexually than men are. No puns intended.

I've dated a girl in my teens who later came out. I had several guy friends come out as gay / bi. I've had students come out to me as gay. I've known husbands to come out as gay / bi after years or decades of marriage.

It was a pretty big slap in the face for me, but somehow I'm happier with that than her being with a guy (because she'd consider the guy better than me).
