Were you frustrated with the opposite sex and wanted to try a same sex relationship to see if the level of understanding and comparability might be better?

If you only thought about it, what are the obstacles that are preventing you from going there?

I did get into a lesbian relationship only months after a break up with a long time boyfriend of 8 years... but at the time I didn't realize it... believe it or not she was a doctor but not mine but when I saw her I guess it was instant attraction and I never had feeling for a woman... I complemented on her eyes and it went from there... to be honest at the beginning there wasn't much touching but she seemed very interested in me and we talked about a lot of subjects... then I asked her would you kiss a girl... then it went from there... she was athletic played volley ball in college so she was very horny at least for me... then after 3 months she called it off saying she has kids and was professional and couldn't do this anymore... I saw her 2 times after the break up but no sex... she wasn't a real lesbian and either was I but i'll never deny that the feelings and the power of love was there... and maybe it all did happen because of a bad break up I never considered that until now.

I did consider it at one point in my life when i was very confused. There was a female student from Indian in my class at college at first i didn't like her much but i was very shy and she couldn't speak great English but she was very kind to me. I didn't have any friends at college and shed let me hang around with her.

After a while her English progressed greatly and we became really close friends. I thought she was stunning and sometimes would fight the urge not to want to kiss her and id avoid going clothes shopping with her as i didn't want to see her body. The idea of being with her was scary and it felt so wrong. Now i see i was just confused and nrver acted on it. I soon realised after meeting my boyfriend i love dick and i find men way more attractive.

I soon decided to set her up with a boy shed been crushing on for ages in class and now they are married i think and im very happy for them.

Now I have no figures to back this up but I have a feeling that there might be more and more women doing this or considering doing this. Whether it is frustration about the opposite sex, being bi curious or a late gay awakening I just don't know.
There has probably been a consistent number of males who are gay, feel gay who may have more confidence to come out but I think there might be more "Hmmmmmm" on the female side maybe even still a bit of stigma.
If a guy had a gay relationship it would probably follow him around but with a girl "Hey it was college " or "I was young"

I'm straight. Doing anything sexual with another man is a repulsive concept for me - from a sexual perspective, men don't register at all for me; they're like a zero reading on my attractiveness meter.

No because a failed relationship can't change my sexual orientation. It can make you leary maybe. But I don't think people can"turn" people get it lesbian. They had that in them already. After my horrible first marriage I didn't date women. Just a better man to date 🤷🏼‍♀️

So I have been in lesbian relationships before and I once chose to seek one out because of my divorce. My marriage ended badly and I really just needed some time to figure things out. The woman I was with really wasn't right for me, so it may not have been fair to her.

I can't say I did not wonder about it. But mines more like darn it... Girls are so hard to find to get a date... I might as well get a guy they seem to be in greater abundance in my life anyway... It was more of playful thought or a mild form of sarcasm as I am straight and plan to stay that way.

I wish I could, women have impossible and unrealistic standards, the world is made to please them and men and women do not get along, I have a lust for women's bodies, beauty is their best quality, but I do not understand or empathize with them, nor do they with men. In general the sexual reproduction is a disadvantage in the organisms, the double of beings, being male and female gives the double of problems, if the animals were hermaphrodites they would get rid of those problems, they would advance more quickly, the males would not have to compete for the females and all would reproduce. This does not mean that human beings do not have sexuality, but if it were only in entity, one gender, in an androgynous plan like David Bowie, better, without gender, sexism would not exist, nor depression, nor loneliness, nor violence...

Yes I have, but at my age I think that people should maybe just accept people as 'people' and then if you click you go with that person, regardless of gender.
But, obviously, if you are drawn to a specific gender, then it doesn't matter.
But I don't think anyone should ever just "dis-count" people because of their private parts. (as it were) 😊❤️💯

Not even a glimmer of a thought, blech!! I focused on what the heck I could do to get myself to a better place.

Yes! I got so annoyed with things not working with guys and never finding the right guy so dated girls but I found it hard to be intimate with them and found it even harder to show PDA so realised I maybe don’t swing that way.

I liked a girl for a long time (by long I meant more than 13 yrs) but never dated any girls romantically.
