My boyfriend ignores my calls for more than 3 days when he is mad at me is this normal behaviour?

So my boyfriend of 5 years and I had a disagreement. Well he was suppose to see me after he just landed from a trip overseas. I told him I was on my cycle he said ok. He didn't show up didn't answer my calls so I texted and asked him if its because I couldnt have sex why he didn't turn up. He called me the next day and said I was rude and am not going to see him bevause I shouldn't have asked that question. Its now day 4 and he is still ignoring me.

So its currently day 9 of no response.. Well I actually phoned him after a couple days and he responded by saying when he is ready to call me then he will.. We were suposed to go on a trip and I guess thats now cancelled as he hasn't reached out.
