I'm a month away from getting married for the first time at the age of 37. It might be later than usual but it's about finding a compatible person to share your life with.

While love is great, it isn't enough if you haven't done the vetting process and neither of you have common goals and values. You can want someone badly when you're younger and think you've fallen in love (that's not love; that's infatuation) but if it's just base on attraction, feelings and lust then it's unlikely you're going to end up with that person in the long run. What you end up (whether younger or older) is the person you want to build a life together with and share daily responsibilities with.

I did for about 3 years and then I said no more I learned a lot for that relationship did I ever because for another 12 years she put me through hell. . But I wouldn't change a thing cuz I got some good kids from her I don't like her but that's just tough but I learned a lot about crazy women LOL and what to do and what not to do if you're around them or in a relationship with them it's called run run fast Forest

I really did. I was extremely lucky. We really met by accident. She did not want to date me and my life was a mess at the time. Somehow it all worked out but it could have just as easily been a total train wreck.
