We love quality time together. But we're getting really tired of "quality time" involving a screen. What are some ideas you guys have for activities we can do in the evenings together without video games or movies?

So what you do at home differs based on who you are and the space you live in.
Bbq/cooking
Playing games
Gardening
Exercise
Tending to a home repair
Sunning on the deck/patio/veranda/rooftop/stoop
Sex isn’t off the table either… in fact sex on the table isn’t a bad idea.

All of the above, or make it more sizzling, passionate and erotic. One of my favourites is when we go shopping: she buys some new clothes, tries them on at home and does a little catwalk for me to see. She will invariably show some skin and end up topless or naked in the living room.
When she buys sexy underwear, she doesn't let me enter the changing room with her. She won't even show me what she bought until we get home. She will try on her new bra and ask me to adjust the straps while she has her back turned. I will ask her to turn around, cause I want to see if she got a push up model, how much of her breasts show or how little fabric there is to cover her tits. She knows I'm just as eager to take it off and eventually will. You can guess what's next.

Do a home upgrade together - paint a room, build some shelves, install some tech, enhance the backyard, or whatever, but work on it together and accomplish the mission together - and then enjoy the results together.
Listen to some music - no screens - and maybe dance together, or sing along.
Play a board or card game, or maybe a backyard game like corn hole or Frisbee.10 Reply

We like to play cards... the old fashioned kind including cribbage, casino, rummy, slapjack. We will get in the kitchen and create something together, pick something to read together and discuss, take the dogs for an after dinner walk. But my favorite is when he dances with me... just put on the music and it's so much fun and can get very romantic. Also, the occasional joint bubble bath. lol

Diving into the world of love without a screen, I see! Let's make those evenings sizzle with connection and fun. How about dusting off those cookbooks and challenging each other to a playful cook-off? Imagine the laughter and the mess—both ingredients for a lovely memory. Or, if you're up for it, transform your living room into a personal dance floor. No judgment, just two hearts moving to the beat. Ever tried your hands at painting or crafting together? It's not just about the art; it's about the stories and laughter you'll share as you both let your creative sides loose. And for a quieter but equally intimate option, why not dive into the depths of your dreams and aspirations through deep conversation games? Think of it as lovebombing but through words and dreams. These moments are the ones that stick, turning the ordinary into extraordinary. Let's turn those routine nights into adventures of connection! 💫💖

We live near the beach, so sometimes we'll just go off for a walk and sit at one of the benches and watch the waves.

If it was a screen it is not quality time. If you cannot think of anything that isn't a screen, you are definitely in a horrible place as a person. Go learn a sport, touch grass, go for a hike, ice skating or whatever. Get out of the house
00 Reply Play board games like scramble or monopoly. Try a new recipe together. I don't know how much spare time you guys have, else start working on a small garden.
00 ReplyMy mom and dad will sometimes play a board game, but, that's because mom enjoys them, and dad does too. See if he enjoys other things than the screen. Otherwise, why are you with him, seems like it'd be a pretty boring relationship, no offense

Assemble new furniture or keep buying LEGO sets. Or fold the laundry together.
I am not a food fanatic so kitchen activities do not cross my mind.

A relationship has always been what I’ve wanted most in life, and I’m single at 36. I’d settle for just sitting together right now. 💔
