Have you ever walked in on or near a couple fighting (nonphysical)?

I usually feel pretty awkward when i do lol. happened last night i had to walk down the sidewalk to pick up food at a panda express but on the way it seemed like this couple had parked their car on the street and had a huge fight. for some reason they had the windows rolled down so you could easily hear them shouting at each other. I just got my food quickly and left lol. very awkward! It's times like that when i don't miss being in a relationship lol.

Yes I have a friend that would have what can only be described as tantrums with his partner. The last time was a couple months back with his then boyfriend, they were both shouting at each other about some bollox or other.

Yeah, I've had awkward encounters like that where a couple starts fighting in front of me or I walk in or up on a random couple in the middle of a fight. I've also ran into co-worker drama in the same sense (come in the break room to hear ranting and arguing or whatever). When that happens, I just stay out of it and keep doing whatever it is I'm doing. If it's a random couple I don't even know, I just move past as fast as I can and avoid them. If it's a couple I know, I just stay out of it and leave them to handle their business.

Child of divorce so I was desensitized to it for a while, but now I definitely notice when the tension is there between couples. Especially with my sister I know her well enough I can tell when she and her girlfriend are having a disagreement. It makes me nervous lol

I've also witnessed old school throwdowns between boyfriend/girlfriend in n outside of bars that were INSANE!! We, my friend and I, had to separate them or spirit one away before the po po showed up.

I once did a 3 day backpack with a F co-worker and a married couple she knew but I had never met before ( we were all in early or mid-twenties at the time). We left at 5 AM for the four-hour drive to the trailhead, and not 10 minutes into the drive the couple, sitting in the back seat, started arguing with each other loudly over some incredibly petty matter. It went on like that the whole long weekend. So much for the peace and quiet of the Yosemite backcountry.

It was my childhood. Not only were they verbal, but they would often get violent with each other; it was terrifying, and of course I felt unsafe.

Yeah it's happened. Usually I just ignore them. Sometimes what they're arguing over is pointless and I'll have a hard time not laughing at them though lol
