I don't think it's worth it... people can piss away years and even decades of their lives waiting for someone. And in most cases, it's the idea of someone, not even the person they really are. The problem with waiting like that is that you're preventing yourself from living in other ways. You are foregoing life experiences in anticipation of a day that might not ever really come.

If they expressed disinterest then no its not. you're better finding someone who is interested.
Now if he has expressed interest and thinks he can't be with you... maybe you can wait but no longer than maybe a month or so. life is short so why wait for someone to make up their mind when you can go find someone who has made up their mind?

AskI'm all about diving into the heart of relationship enigmas, and yours is a classic, wrapped in ribbons of hope and patience! Waiting on someone truly depends on the tune your heart plays and the dance floor you're sharing. If the music speaks of mutual respect, understanding, and promises for a shared future, then darling, those waiting shoes might just be your best outfit yet. But, if you're dancing solo with your hopes doing the tango against a backdrop of ghosting or lovebombing, it might be time to change the track. Love is a two-way street, gleaming under the streetlights of effort and commitment. If you find yourself waiting under a flickering light, it might be a sign to strut towards brighter avenues. Remember, the wait should enhance your tune, not leave you dancing to a melody of maybes and what-ifs. 😉

It depends on what you mean by waiting someone, if you mean waiting for the right person then yes absolutely don’t just pick any snake in the grass that will bite.
If you mean waiting on somebody who you’ve shown interest in directly, but they haven’t gave you a clear answer or flat rejected you. Then no if that person is interested the ball is in his or her court at that point. There isn’t any point in wasting your own time if someone can’t be clear.
Also, if you mean waiting on someone to approach you. What happens many times when people refuse to approach someone they get approached by people hur it’s never who they want meanwhile they waste all their time crushing on someone until that person ends up with somebody else. Then they’re disappointed and back to square one.
If you mean waiting on someone in a relationship, if it’s meant to be it will be. If you’re both single at some point and still interested go for it otherwise just leave it be.

waiting on what, for... though
and, waiting how long...
it all depends on the context and the circumstances but... waiting for someone who is NOT trying to come to you, I don't think that's worth any waiting time, or to change their minds about you, no way... lol25 Reply- 24 d

Worth is completely not measurable, because worth is not defined here, and I doubt it can be. Question seems more like... What is the obstacle really? If its just time, then time will flow... Until you reach your own mental limit, which is probably not defined yet, it is something to discover later, probably.
So, what really is this obstacle?10 Reply - 26 d
I'm thankful. My husband waited for me for four years. He says he had no choice because I needed to grow up some. I grew up. He proposed. We got married just a few hours later. When it's right, it's right.

if the person you wait for is worth it, then it is... if you have enough time and will to wait...

No. You should never wait one second for anyone doing anything.

10 ReplyNo. Bide your time by hanging out with other strange men like me... life is too short. Feel out the field a bit.

Go into dating looking for a best friend. Because the only difference between a best friend and a healthy relationship, is the romantic benefits.

I would NEVER wait on somebody. If it just so happens that I'm still single between when I ask and their relationship ends then fine. But I'm not waiting for anybody. Nobody should do that.
