I think society, at least our society, has basically been shaped to put women in a position of power above men... and it's been done in so many ways that I'm not going to list them here. It's why they can't name one legitimate right or privilege I have that they don't, but I can do the opposite. It goes from crime sentencing systemically to all kinds of social reasons.

It's (the system in place I speak of), is going to be backed up by the simps/ma ma's boys/white knights and feminazis/misandrists as well. Those people have this assumption that women do no wrong, and always have the happiness of others and what is fair and just in their heart first and foremost. They're basically sexist, but don't think they are because they're only sexist against men. (Sadly, I was once one of them) ... if you scroll around on the other responses with a discerning eye, you'll be able to pick them out.

So a saying like this "Happy wife, Happy life" is 100% true for the people I've mentioned prior. The truth on the other hand... the other way you can take that saying, goes as follows... women are especially adept at making the fucked up things they do look like it's not their fault (quite possibly blame you, even if it was their fault), so if you cross one, she can and if inclined, make your life a living hell. The systemic entities and many others will most likely take her side on every issue and you'll never have the support she has. She can quite possibly destroy you... and... will have help in doing so.

A husband and wife should work for each other's contentment and happiness. It's not a matter of one or the other sacrificing. In a healthy relationship it's not one sided. They will do anything for each other as long as they feel loved, respected and appreciated.
It's not difficult and it's not a sacrifice if they love each other.
