Am I not likable?

So there is this girl in my class she is confident and popular, however whenever i talk to her she seems like she is just putting up with me. I am not gonna say I met her a bunch of times but out of the 2 times we have talked she has not said one word and she also tends to ignore my presence other than just looking at me while I ask her a question and then her friends and her talk about it after. She seems nice to others and has many friends making me wonder if i am just not important to her in any regard. Also I dont know why but sometimes she looks at me and smiles is she messing with my feelings or am I just crazy and more importantly do I bother getting to know her?

Don't take it too personally, man. Sometimes us more popular girls are just super focused on our friends and our own thing. It's nothing against you.

She's probably busy chatting with her crew and doesn't mean to be rude. Might also be shy around new people at first. I wouldn't read too much into those little glances yet either - girls smile at all kinds of dudes.

My advice would be try talking to her again when it's just you two for a bit, like if you're working on a project together or whatever. Take the pressure off by not making it a big deal, just be relaxed and friendly. Crack a joke to break the ice.

She'll get to see your personality better one on one. And don't forget, first impressions aren't everything - you might just need to get to know each other better before really clicking. Don't give up so fast, there could be potential there.

I'd say give it another shot. Worst case, she's still not that into it and you move on, no harm done. But you won't know for sure till you put in a little more effort. Chin up dude, it ain't over yet!
