I would take care of my child's mother regardless if we were or weren't together. Taking care of her is the same as taking care of my kids.

Not at all. I would dump any girl who thought otherwise. Kids need their mother, they need to see their parents getting along and I'm always gonna take care of the woman who brought my child into the world.

Ok so I told my child’s father I’m looking to buy a comfortable chair and desk for uni. He found one for me and asked me if he could gift it to me for my birthday. so I was gifted a comfortable office chair for my desk so that I could do work at home since I have a one year old and I’m at university. It was delivered to me the day after my bday. And he also put it together for me

Ohhhh I don't think that's romantic at all. I mean, the gesture is nice and it's super sweet that he put it together for you, but that's an extremely straight forward thing; like you told him you need something and he got it for you to make his child's mother's life easier. It's a very loving thing to do, but it's not necessarily romantic love.

That's the kind of thing I would do for a friend or my mother.
