If you had a girlfriend or boyfriend and the two of you were really in love and they died, what would you miss most about them?

Well, my boyfriend did suddenly pass away last year and I think what I miss most about him is when we would lay in bed at night just before we would fall asleep, he would lie on his back with his arm around me and make up a night night story to tell me.
He was great at improv story telling. And I would go soundly off to sleep under his arm. 💔

I've already had a few of them cheat on me or leave me. I'd probably miss the same thing: the love we had for each other, being together, the comradery, someone else being a very close part of my life and, of course, someone that'd cook and clean the bathroom. Preferably not at the same time.

him... his presence in my life... the warmth of his touch, sensation of his voice... everything... the funny things that made me laugh, long conversations at night, him being close...

Yes, I miss all of those things too. But going into a cold, lonely bed every night without him having me tucked safely under his arm and listening to his great sounding voice telling me a story is something I really miss. He spoiled me doing that and now it takes everything I have to get into our bed we shared and look at the empty side where he used to be, holding me 😥💔

one of things you can try is to change something... rearrange the bedroom, buy new bed sheets... whatever resonates with you but introduces a change... not sad one, but positive or neutral...

Actually I have moved out of the apartment we lived in together.
I did buy new sheets that are feminine.
My favorite color is 🩷 pink and my new bedspread has 🩷 flowers embroidered on it. So I gave it a new look.
I can't rearrange the bed though, there's only one place to put the bed, but it's the same bed we slept in 😔
