Do I have the right to be upset when my girlfriend regularly stays out very late with friends?

Me and my girlfriend started dating 2 years ago, about 6 months in she had to move for work and we did long distance for about months until I eventually moved to her. And we’ve been living together for the last 7 months.

She is a dancer and used to go to classes when we first met, but after she moved she has started getting into dancing a lot more. I am a terrible dancer and due to some medical problems, I really can’t dance. At first it was completely fine, she would go out a couple times a week, not stay out too late and it would give me time to do my hobbies.

Lately she has been staying out later and later, and doing it a lot more often. We ended up getting in a big fight last weekend because she had gone out 4 days in a row, until midnight or later and she has absolutely no energy for me at all. I told her I am fine with her going out to the dance classes and hanging with her friends, but I want to be able to spend time with her and I miss her and am feeling very lonely. I just asked that she not stay out really late, that she doesn’t need to stay until close every time. That I try to make time for her.

She had been improving and she told me tonight that she was going out and would be out late. I knew about this and I said it was okay, imagining out late meant 12 at the latest. Especially after what we talked about. I also didn’t want to tell her what she could and couldn’t do, and I also more importantly wanted her to make the choice to not stay out extremely late. Well, it’s currently 3am and she is just now coming back. I had sent her a text an hour ago asking her not to stay out late.

In fairness, she did tell me that she was going to be out late. I just don’t know if I have the right to be upset, after everything we’ve talked about. And I know she is going to justify it by saying “I did tell you I was going to be out late”. She asked me not to stay up for her, but she’s been locked out before because she doesn’t charge her phone.

Or am I just being controlling? Because I really don’t want to be controlling, I feel like I am setting reasonable boundaries
