Long story short is I'm 25 years old and I still live with my parents (older brother too) and I met someone on online dating. I know that this is a really unreliable way of meeting someone, but me and her really have a connection. She lives in the Philippines and lives with her parents as well, goes to college (she's on her last year).
We talk/text on the phone every day and I really do love her. The only thing that concerns me is that she's trans, I mean I don't care at all I still love her, but I'm just worried about telling my family. I told my mom because I tell her everything and I told my sister because she's a lesbian so she can somewhat relate to it. My girlfriend told me that she does not want to visit if my family doesn't know about her being trans
The people I'm worried to tell are my day and brother. My dad grew up in a different culture than Western so I'm nervous to tell him. As for my brother I feel like he's transphobic because of a LONG conversation we had while he was drunk. I want my family to accept my girlfriend for who she is, I know my mom and sister already do. So how can I tell the rest of my family members?
