First of all they don't have to be opened right? So how would she know what he was sending her unless she opened them and looked at them.

Of course we all have learned that honesty is the best policy. But if she tells you about it then what are you supposed to do with that information?

Why can't people just behave? There always seems like there has to be some negative excitement thrown in the relationship which only causes problems and neither of you can just have a peaceful relationship when there's always something else going on.

If it's a one off and I never need to see or speak to that ex ever then I'd send them a message saying don't contact me again and block. My partner doesn't need to know unless the ex still tries to contact me. Then I'd tell my partner I blocked my ex but he's still trying to contact me. Let my partner message him next saying back off!
