Wear their shoes the same way you want them wearing yours , don’t make everything about yourself , put yourself in their shoes and try to understand their feelings and think how you would feel if things were the other way around. Why it’s stupid to assume things , before seeing the big picture. People that are quick to judge are morons , but sadly we live in a judgmental world , and people like to point fingers before pointing fingers at themselves first , when you learn not to be judgmental , you will gain more respect and trust from people , because you aren’t being judgmental. As for me , I don’t care what someone looks like , if they are nice and respectful to me , I will do the same for them. So stop assuming and just listen to what they are saying , and don’t make it about yourself , or how if effected you , because it’s more than likely not about you in the first place , so by you listening to them , they more than likely will open up to you and tell you the truth
