Why would my situationship text me this?

Merry Christmas” and he replied “ merry Christmas sweet” and then I asked him “ are you drunk lol” and he said “okay maybe” and then never said anything after that. He also called me randomly a couple days ago to say hi. What’s the random “ baby” text lol I’m confuseddd

He was just drunk texting.. it really doesn't mean anything.. drunk people tend to text lots of people when they are drunk and lonely. So someone else he likes more probably texted him back and he went and hooked up with them. Don't read too much into a drunk text.
