Read the title lazy b*tch.
1 yDude, that's something you laugh about, not something you break up over. Put on a pair of headphones and tune out.
But if it is that bad for you, you can figure out a way to address it. You cannot lie and tell her she sings like a nightingale when she sounds like a crow, because that's not helpful to her. If you get her around real musicians, doing real music lessons, get her some basic recording equipment so she can hear her own voice, she'll either improve or realize it's not really her gifting. She likes singing in the shower because bathrooms have natural reverb, causing a fuller sound to the average voice, making it sound more dimensional than it really is. From her POV, she sounds good. She can also fill in all the music in her head, so for her, the music is playing and filling in all the holes her a cappella solo is missing.
However, I have known someone people who simply do not appreciate certain styles of music or singing. That is their own dilemma and they either need to figure out a way to appreciate it, or listen to something else. It doesn't mean the singing is bad, it just means it's not your taste. If you like dying-on-a-spike heavy metal screaming music and she is singing classical crossover, it doesn't mean she's bad. It means you haven't trained your ear. I know tons of people who "hate" opera, and that just tells me they don't have the ear for it.

Can you do better? Most likely she is the best you could do. If you could have done better, you would have but the better rejected you because they could do better than you.

1 yYou can do what you want but this is an extremely petty and ridiculous reason to break up with someone. Have you at least talked to her about it? Chances are she will stop doing this if you let her know it’s getting on her nerves. Just tell her to hum in the shower instead.
Anyway it’s typically young women who reject guys over petty issues but seeing this reversed is disheartening.
I get it your 20 and have plenty of options around you. But let’s say you find someone else who doesn’t sing in the shower but turns out to be a cheater. Is that a good trade off?
Just talk to her about it first. Don’t yell at her but just say “hey I think your awesome but tbh I drives me nuts when you sing in the shower when I’m around. Can you just hum instead or something?” Now if she defies you and keeps doing it then you can say adios.

1 yIf she's your girlfriend, she must have had some other great qualities that attracted you, didn't she? Those are still there. Do you like her speaking voice? Do you like the sound of her laugh? Maybe singing just isn't her thing. Maybe you can arrange to be somewhere else when she's taking her shower? Or put on your headphones and listen to something else while she's showering!

As a relationship coach, I'm all about helping people find love and maintain it through the good times and the bad 🥰. Your girlfriend's shower concerts might be a bit off-key, but hey, love can be a melody of its own, right? 🎶 Breaking up over a little vocal enthusiasm might not be the best tune to dance to. Consider embracing her quirks—they might just be the harmony your life needs! 🎤💖

00 Reply2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. My wife can't sing, but I think it's cute when she is happily singing absent mindedly while working on something in the other room. It makes me chuckle.
Sometimes I cheerfully join in if it's a fun song. My accompaniment helps her pitch and tempo. We have fun singing duets.
You would be the worse person in the whole world if you broke up with her over that. You should adore cheerful attitude.20 Reply
1 yYour not ready for a relationship if your going to acting all childish and immature. Break up with her tell her to go find a much better guy that will appreciate her. You kids are just something else now a days.
30 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Maybe invest in some singing lessons , you can maybe do together , no I would not break up over singing in the shower , she couldn't be that bad.

1 yYou got to take the good with the bad. The real question is... does her bad outweigh her good? I'll take a bad singing voice over a gold-digging, naggy, cheating bitch with a fantastic singing voice.

1 yA voice is a voice & when your girlfriend sings in the shower sorry to hear that her voice is worse than the rooster in the village. If you break up with her you can always date the rooster being that the rooster has a better voice.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yYou could do what I do. When my girlfriend starts singing I always asked her "who sings that"? She responds back "Alanis Morisette". And I say to her, "yeah, let's keep it that way".😆
I didn't tell her to quit. But she gets what I mean.😆

1 y😂 is the voice going to help you to go to heaven? Or help you with your record? Why does it matter if she has a good or bad singing voice?
02 Reply- 1 y
Hahaha actually I have a nice singing voice but the point is why does it matter?
It isn't because she can't sing that you should end the relationship; rather, it's because you are immature and not ready for a relationship.
10 Reply6.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If it bothers you that much, then yes, you should. But why would that bother you? It sounds endearing.
10 ReplyI would find that charming or laugh about it with them. It's just a small quirk of hers so why be bothered by it? Or are just looking for some stupid reason to break up?
00 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Whatever, man. Don't come crying when your next girlfriend is bitchy to you 24/7 after she gets you hooked on other things.

00 Reply 361 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Lmao, This is cute af, but bro you're an asshole. Might as well dump her so she can find a real man who won't judge her. Just ask if she's trying out for the voice and she'll stop. Jesus. 🙄

This reminds me of a girl I dated. One day we were talking on the phone and somehow the topic turned to singing and she started singing in her normal everyday voice. It was horrible, but I thought it was the most adorable thing she probably ever did. I guess not everyone can make multiple voices.

1 yDoes she have big boobs? Is she great in bed? Does she give a good b. j. ? If yes to ANY or ALL of the three, then no. How long are her showers?( Some broads don't shower, if you can imagine that !!!)

1 yI think the sensible thing is to get in the shower and make her sing to a different rhythm 🥁
11 Reply405 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Dude... seriously? Just wear some headphones or blast some music. Nut that's a crappy reason to break up
00 ReplyProbably doesn’t need an immature prick like you in her life anyway; so I’d let her move on to be with a grown up.
