My friend has been lying to me and I don't know what to do?

My friend has a girlfriend and sometimes she would ask me to do tarot readings on a guy she liked. I felt obviously uncomfortable and started questioning her more. She still hasn't broken up with her fully but she told me they did. I just found out through her Reddit she was lying to me

She still makes me ask tarot about future possible boyfriends and I didn't know she still had a girlfriend technically. She is leading her girlfriend on and they should've broken up a year ago. I don't even know what to do because I feel weird for checking her Reddit but I just knew she was lying to me.

It puts me in a morally compromised position if she keeps talking to me about men she's interested in, or asking me to read tarot cards on crushes, when I now know she's lied and is still in a relationship. I can't have normal conversations about guys she's into because I feel uncomfortable knowing she has a girlfriend. I feel she will sooner cheat on her girlfriend than break up with her.

Okay, jokes aside... look up the term "Monkey Branching" and just sort of see if it applies to her and what she's doing. Basically she's reaching for a new branch and she's not going to let go of the branch she has a firm grasp on until she gets a firm grip and a new one.

I think you're just seeing it... basically not being fooled by it... and you're like "WTF why is she doing this?" It's a trait that's usually painted on the female gender because the males just want to be greedy and it's not so much about maintaining control while looking for something better to get control of. We can argue about if males or females do this more or less later... as well if they get small dogs to replace the urge to have a baby or large dogs for the real doggy style... talking peanut butter on the crotch and everything.

See... you would never do that. They though... absolutely 100% would. Humans are just as evil as chimps... some more than others. You can't view it through your own eyes... you have to think from their shoes if that makes sense.

I mean let me put it like this. I couldn't toss you a term like "monkey branching" and it be a thing you can actually look up on the internet unless it happens all the fucking time. There are people out there doing it all the time. They're out there doing it right now as we speak. It's been done so much that we actually have come up with a term and definition of those actions.
