That the best relationships are based on how the person treats you, not how much physical or intellectual attraction you feel for your partner because from my own life, it seems over 95% of those who marry for attraction and not for character end up in abusive marriages or unhappy ones. Now some people are both very attractive and also humble and loving, those relationships are fine, but attraction is usually deadly cause it causes people to choose personalities that are not good for marriage or are abusive and not ready for a committed relationship.

I think attraction is the tinder for getting to know someone romantically. However, falling in love with who they are as a person will generally increase your attraction to them. Conversely if they treat you poorly, at least in my experience, you might lose attraction to them.

You are right... I liked a guy who was good looking. He showed up as a good giy in the beginning but with passage of time he started showing his real colours. If I will date a person I will go for character first.
