I don't know but I saw the girl that was “this person“ for me on a dating app like 10 years after everything had happened, and that was kind of the point that I realized that maybe I had won.

Like the way I felt back then, I really made myself available and vulnerable, and things got so twisted, bridges were burned, and all the while it’s like we could’ve been something, but it’s like “you’ve really just been lost in life this whole time, eh?” Pffff…. “Still looking?” 🤔🤔

Nowadays I kind of just value my peace, not having to deal with all the confusion and heartache I felt when she was around and was trying to get through to her. Someone I saw as a real “northstar” in my life… felt nothing but goodwill and admiration towards her, and it’s like how did it ever get so bad? Maybe I dodged a bullet.
