My older brother is getting married and my sister and I are going to be bridesmaids. My brothers fiancé said we could choose our own dresses but my older sister told me I should send her photos of the dresses I like (she thinks I have a ‘unique’ style). I’m upset about this because I feel like she’s trying to control what I wear when I’m a grown woman who is fully capable of making my own decisions and dressing myself. Am I wrong to feel this way?

You need to be dressed appropriately in a bridal party , and bridesmaids need to be coordinated , its a completely reasonable request , and makes sense for certain , its least you can do , communicate together and come to a conclusion.
