Should I be upset over this?

Recently, the girl I’ve been seeing for the past few weeks confessed to me that she was living with her ex boyfriend the night we met. She had a difficult relationship with her ex, he had been abusive and cheated on her until she broke things off but he was very persistent, stalking her, claiming he had changed and trying to get back with her. At the time she was confused about her feelings so she agreed to meet up with him again, she needed help moving apartments, and he offered to help her so he ended up living with her for a while. They never got back together officially, but were figuring out their relationship so they did have physical intimacy sometimes. One night, she went out partying with some friends and they introduced us, we talked, got drunk and kissed. She freaked out cause she knew she had to figure out her situation with her ex before attempting anything serious with me so she took her time before answering any of my messages or calls for a couple of months. She was honest with her ex about what had happened, he felt betrayed by her and got violent with her once again so that gave her the strength she needed to end things for good. She says she likes me and wants a relationship with me so she felt the need to be completely honest with me about our first meeting. Should I be angry or just get over it?
