I cheated once when I was younger and at the time I didn’t really feel guilty , i actually felt justified for my actions because my Girlfriend at the time was treating me like complete shit , so screwing another girl that treated me better just happened and I enjoyed it , but afterwards I felt like a selfish asshole for doing it and immediately confessed the truth to her that I cheated on her and that i no longer want to be with her , shockingly she forgave me and wanted to give me a second chance and she admitted she was treating me like shit at the time and wanted to fix our relationship. I still declined her offer and told her she deserves someone that wouldn’t cheat on her. She asked if I was still going to see the other girl , and II said No , I am actually not , because she was cheating on her boyfriend as well with me I said I don’t want to be in a relationship with anyone at this time and I gave her a hug and said I was sorry and wished her the best and then walked away , that same night she showed back up at my home and threw herself at me and we ended up having sex. After we finished , I told her that this is just sex and nothing more , I said I still don’t want to be in a relationship , I said let’s just be friends’ because I didn’t feel close to her like I did before. She eventually realized I didn’t want a relationship and she ended up meeting someone else after a few weeks and I was happy for her. But Ever since that time I have never cheated again. I realized if I am unhappy in a relationship, I will just end it before pursuing anyone else
