Most probably not, at least not with someone in my age group. I would go with a person that is 60+ without any hesitation but certainly not with a male that is in the age group 16-60, why?

Simply put because men tend to want more than just a platonic friendship on vacation. Such holidays are seen as a way to get what you want and if a single girl is accompanying a guy on such a holiday, he almost certainly will try to "motivate", coerce or in any other way force her to go beyond what is acceptable to her.

Elderly men tend to be more civilized and educated and would likely not force a young woman into something she does not want to and that is why I would have no issues going with an elderly gentleman. Of course, we would have to sleep in separate rooms that are not adjacent and that can be locked from the inside.
