1.5K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I think it depends on what type of relationship you're talking about
Would I first meet a girl I want to know exactly who she is on the inside. I want to know How beautiful her heart is if she's smart , intelligent wise If she's happy and who she is
To me if I like Who she is on the inside I'm always gonna find something beautiful on the outside. That makes her different from other people
It's.
A lot more than just physical.
Appearance For me
Like I said , if I like the person on the inside Cause she knows how to become one with me I think anything is possible
And we all see beauty in a different way. We all feel beauty in a different way. And it's more than just looks. Beauty comes in all different avenues. It's who we like and what we like in a person is where we see that beauty01 Reply- 1 y
There is an energy that comes from each one of us and if you understand that energy. And How beautiful it is when you become one with that energy within another person It is almost better than physical sometimes And if you understand energy you know exactly what I mean it's One of the best feelings in this world... And that in itself is.
Beautiful

Anonymous(30-35)1 yno relationship can even begin without physical attraction
like it or not, looks matter more than personality
personality is more subjective than looks and more easy to change (and fake)
looks are less subjective than personality and harder to change (and fake)

Opinion Owner1 y@Nikki1989 funny you can't change either of yours
do you still salivate over dad bods you claim to find so sexy?
its usally depends on the type of relationship you have goings, you can express it in a billion different way and not having any physical attraction but still making the relationship work is also a great level of respect. my and my boyfriend were on and off we broke up 3times becuase of our issues and i didn't feel any physical attraction towards him but i worked off with it so yeah, a relationship can survive without any physical attraction but not always:)

1 yUnless they were your initially your long-term friend and love developed over time, if it's a new person you've just met but have no attraction at all (not even a bit), then it's unlikely to progress. There has to be some attraction.
If there is little attraction it can develop into love over time and survive but 0% attraction, nope.

As a relationship pro on GAG, my aim is to help you navigate the love jungle! 😉 Physical attraction is like the icing on the cake—sweet, but not the whole dessert. A relationship can survive like a rom-com with laughter, mutual respect, and shared values. Emotional connection and communication are your superpowers for deep love. Falling in love isn't all about looks, it's about how you feel in each other's presence. So, grab the popcorn and enjoy the show—you might find you've got a blockbuster love story! 🍿💖

1 yFor some people, yes, for me personally, not quite I have some sort of physical attraction (A bit of natural beauty, then a fit body, healthy, well-groomed, signs of self-care etc.) at first while also loving their character and personality (Outgoing, strong mental fortitude, calm & collected, smart, funny, communicative, charismatic, flirty, protective, secret soft spots, loves cuddles and kisses, capable of being someone I can rely on especially during times of sadness). I already have a husband and he holds the same standards with me and we love each other dearly (We may have just gotten married a year ago but our relationship has been since we were in high school as proof of its survival). If you're wondering if our relationship will last as we age till our 60s, 70s, 80s & the end of our life despite prime beauty and physical looks are when we are younger, it will. While the looks is what first got each other's attention when we first met, our personalities & love for who we actually are is not lust-driven so aging looks won't affect us as we're only going to have our love for each other grow overtime as we overcome hurdles and problems in life together (we already have and still are going through some). Plus, maintaining a fit body, being healthy, well-groomed and taking care of ourself are all things that aren't age-related and as long such habits are kept up we can still maintain a good amount of our physical looks too and being healthy is also very crucial.
10 Reply381 opinions shared on Relationships topic. The relationship maybe but the affection not a chance.
You’ll essentially be left in an “arrangement” where the presence of a life partner has benefits but not romantic ones
I know my parents after 29 years of marriage have lost all love and affection for each other. But they are both so codependent that ending the marriage would be a disaster for both of them
So they stay because it’s convenient
I would never want a similar relationship.
I know some old couples who still keep the flame alive and those are the ones that inspire me when I picture such a commitment00 Reply- 626 opinions shared on Relationships topic.
1 yNo physical attraction? Depends what each person wants out of a "relationship". Maybe she wants financial security and he wants a female friend. Maybe they both get their physical needs met elsewhere. Just because it's not the usual arrangement doesn't mean it can't work for someone.
10 Reply 10.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. If two people share a deep emotional bond, mutual respect, similar values, and excellent communication, the relationship can still potentially thrive. Not everyone is so petty, insecure, or superficial.
Furthermore, relationships based on physical attraction will fail quicker than any other type of relationship.
00 ReplyIf it started as non sexual one sure. But most are based off attraction and sex, so if one or both aren’t feeling fulfilled it’s not gonna work for long. Having no physical attraction for someone you used to feel attracted to just shows it’s done.
21 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. No unless its been such a strong relationship due to past attraction that it doesn't matter. But when the relationship is about sexual exclusivity and the sex is unappealing I can't see that working long term.

1 yPossibly for those few shallow, business oriented individuals who find a beneficial, rational explanation for a relationship with someone they are not physically attracted to. How uuugghhh!! So happy to be NOTHING like them.

1 yI think some sort of physical attraction is required, otherwise you may settle and when someone comes along who really does it for you both physically and mentally, you might think you’re with the wrong person, just saying.

1 yNo. The first thing that make people fall in love is physical attraction. Without it, it the love fade.

Which is if that's the goal, a friendship, not a romantic romance question of physical attraction. Me and my wife or girlfriend would have to be into each other physically as well as interests otherwise *why aren't I still single* - thankfully I'm single 😋🤠
