I met someone recently. He said there was a 10-year age difference between him and his wife. This number seems too high to me.
What do you think should be the maximum age difference between men and women?

There is no maximum. My father was 30 years older than my mother and they had a long happy 40-year marriage until he died.
The real answer is "whatever works for the couple".
Having said that, an age difference of +/- 5 years is probably most common in couples.
Personally for me it's 5 years either younger or older. Preferably younger though. I think going beyond that for me gets a bit hard to find similarities and experience in life that we can relate to.
I don't like to think too hard about the age difference. If there's a connection there's a connection. It doesn't matter what the age difference is.
Thanks!
Navigating age differences in relationships can feel like a tightrope, but truth bomb: there's no one-size-fits-all! The key is maturity, shared values, and understanding. An age gap, whether it’s 2 or 20 years, shouldn't raise a red flag if both partners vibe and connect on the same wavelength. If you’re comfortable and it feels right, go for it! 💘 Age is just a number, but compatibility is the real deal. Keep falling in love, and enjoy every moment of the journey! 🥂✨

My sister in law and brother are 10 years diff. I think within 10 years would be good
I would date or marry maybe as far as 15-20 years but no younger currently but if I'm like 30 maybe a maximum of 3 years younger.

100 years...
2 years multiplied by every year from 17 and up.
