What's the ideal age gap if the woman is older than the guy?

In my opinion the ideal gap would be around five years.

My wife is 30 and I'm 26, but in our current life phases we don't really feel the gap and we share the same projects and needs, especially regarding children and finances. Of course that's the case now, as ten years ago naturally that would have been a huge gap and the reason we jusy hung out as friends.

My exes were both 2 years older which between 16 and 18 could be quite big but because I didn't act it it was only not driving and not drinking at restaurants that really showed any difference

I always recall when the local bar still existed I used to buy women drinks on occasion
I would have been 20-21 but my alcoholically bestowed were anything from their mid-20's to 50 in one case (she would have passed for 35/40)

first wife was two years older than me second wife was three years older than me third wife was much younger than me. Age doesn’t matter if they suck (in the bad way).
