Yes, it is absolutely acceptable for a woman to give her man flowers in a relationship. Flowers are a beautiful and thoughtful way to express love and appreciation, regardless of gender. Many men find receiving flowers to be a positive and touching gesture.
Here's why it's acceptable and some things to consider:
Why it's a great idea:
Expressing love and appreciation:
Flowers can be a powerful way to show your partner that you care and that you appreciate them.
Breaking down stereotypes:
Flowers are often associated with women, but they shouldn't be limited to that. Giving flowers to a man can be a refreshing and thoughtful gesture that shows you're not bound by outdated gender roles.
Adding a special touch:
Flowers can make a simple gesture or a special occasion even more memorable.
Personalized choice:
You can choose flowers that reflect your partner's personality or preferences.
Things to consider:
Your partner's preferences:
While most men would appreciate the gesture, you can subtly inquire if your partner is okay with receiving flowers.
Occasion:
Flowers are a lovely gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, or just because.
Symbolism:
Consider the meaning of different flowers and choose ones that are meaningful to you and your relationship.
In conclusion, giving flowers to a man is a wonderful way to show your love and appreciation. It's a gesture that can bring joy and strengthen your relationship.Absolutely! Flowers aren't just for women. It's perfectly acceptable to give guys flowers to show that you care for them. Just keep in mind that it might not be every man's cup of tea, so it could be a good idea to subtly ask if they like receiving flowers.

If I knew he would appreciate it and love it... id surprise him with a bouquet 💐.
Some guys are not into that tho... you have to cater to your man specifically. If he wants dinner and a movie... then there you go...
If he wants sex and sleep... there you go lmao

Flowers for men in a relationship? Oh, absolutely! Breaking traditional norms and adding a personal touch can be quite charming. It's a sweet way to show affection and appreciation. Plus, we love surprises, too! So, go ahead and shower him with those floral goodies, and watch him blush – who says flowers are only for special occasions, right? 🌸😊

1.9K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Yes ofc! Last year I went out to a field and picked flowers for my husband. He thought it was a cute surprise
10 Reply3.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I appreciate any gesture of thought and appreciation. That said, flowers don't really do it for me, and I suspect most men feel that way, though a few men do like flowers.
My girlfriend will surprise me occasionally with a nice bakery cupcake, or some Cold Stone ice cream. For me, that's a much better fit when it comes to a gift.
Imagine you were hinting about a necklace to your man for your anniversary, and he got you a cordless drill instead, or new tires on your car. Sure, a few women would genuinely welcome a drill or tires, but most women would prefer jewelry, and we all know it. And if your woman doesn't want jewelry, you know it, and you know what she prefers instead.
Know what your partner likes, and don't just buy them something YOU want - get them something THEY want.10 Reply- 9 d
I wouldn’t say there is a standard here , if you like getting flowers and your s. o or partner gives then that’s acceptable. For me , flowers are pretty but I hate getting gifts 🎁, makes me feel awkward. I’m low maintenance , a heartfelt and sincere thank you is all I need !

Agreed , flowers don’t last long ! A valid point , really my gut tells me that flowers are feminine so are not really a fitting gift for a ‘man’ , this together with the fact that generally speaking guys are more practical and so wouldn’t value the sentiment that flowers carry. If sex lasted a few days , that’s not a gift 😜 that’s a curse

Yes. Men deserve flowers, just as women.
Imagine your man breaks his leg and ends up in a hospital, pretty sure you would show up to his bedside with flowers just as you expect from him.
Kindness, compassion, and warm greetings & well wishes are a human way of coping not just a female or male thing.

Why would you say something like that.. like couldn't you say a different scenario like something positive

@Eempriyanka The gesture was a universal positive, not the incident itself. Think of it like getting a gift on a harsh day, the gesture makes it feel that your partner loves you, cares about you, will stand with you thick and thin also it is sent with love so it makes it feel less bad. I’d say that was pretty positive.

Acceptable? Sure. Why not.
Do I want flowers? Not really. I'd appreciate the gesture but I'm not a flower on my desk kind of guy. Maybe make me dinner instead or get me a book or sheet music on a song I want to learn to play.
I'd guess all men would appreciate the sentiment and gesture but are not into flowers other than growing them in the yard or having them in the landscaping.

I have just about everything from the Milwaukee tool catalog, just got new slicks for the race car, the barrel of VP racing fuel is still 3/4 full, so in reality there isn't much left that I need.
So yes, that would be nice.
I like flowers.10 Reply- 9 d
Yes, but honestly most guys would probably rather have food.
Maybe give your man one of these:
40 Reply Yes but a plant is better. It lasts longer and shows a commitment. I wouldn't appreciate flowers as it's wasteful and a cliche. A better idea would be a bag of ground coffee or teas or something that lasts longer but is still consumed

Absolutely, it’s not only acceptable—it’s thoughtful and sweet. Relationships are about mutual appreciation, and everyone likes to feel loved and seen, regardless of gender. Flowers aren't just for women; they're a symbol of care and affection. If your man appreciates the gesture, go for it!

Yeah. There's nothing wrong with giving flowers to someone you love. I know I would personally.
20 Reply 361 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Sure. But flowers isn't exactly appealing to guys lol.
20 Reply- 8 d
No, it isn't. I find it unnecessary for a man to buy flowers. I would not prefer him to spend money in vain.
10 Reply 4.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Yes why not. However, it is always the other way around.

It doesn't matter to give flowers.

wtf is a man going to do with flowers? Put them in a vase on the dining room table? Plant it in his garden? 🤣
20 Reply I personally would be touched if a woman gave me flowers. Noramalyl men never get one till their in a box and six feet under I'm not even kidding that's often the first time men ever get flowers.

Scary question. Are we going to evaluate, decide and rule over what is acceptable, for something as trivial as flowers gifted? 😂
00 Reply - 10 d
Yes. 93% of mens first flowers are at their own funeral. Let's break the cycle. Give men flowers!
10 Reply - 10 d
Yeah, but it doesn’t mean as much to most guys. They may not even vases to put them in. A potted plant is usually a better choice
10 Reply If your man doesn't enjoy receiving flowers then he is scared he isn't a man.
10 Reply- 9 d
I think it's a beautiful present no matter the gender, but there are people who don't like receiving flowers so maybe try bringing it up.
20 Reply - 9 d
Yeah it's fine.. Just the thought would be enough for me at least.. Although even more is her knowing what I usually like and getting me that instead..
