I met a guy at a social event several months ago. We spoke for several months and I met up with him last week. I’ve thought back on everything and I think he is a misogynist. He would go on rants about “European” woman, about how men have never changed but “woman” have. The things he said about woman was awful. He would give me “advice” on diet and other things and at first I thought he was just being kind. However, it has become clear he was trying to mould me into another person.
The reason why I realise this is because I ended up with a serious injury and I fell off the wagon for a few weeks in terms of diet because of the pain and I could not exercise. He was extremely angry about this, he went on around how he gave me all those advice yet apparently I wasn’t listening to him. He said I should listen to him over medical professionals. Anyway, despite this, I still met up with him, we spent several hours together, kissed etc and slept with eachother. One comment that he didn’t make that was a bit weird as I was cuddling him he quietly muttered that I should do what he said. The next day, He came over and cuddled me and kissed me, then randomly got up and said He wasn’t attracted to me and then he left.
I was very hurt by this because I didn’t understand why would you kiss someone and sleep with them If you We’re not attracted to them? He met me before and we spoke for months, He even has a photo album of me on his phone (selfies of me) so I just don’t believe him, it doesn’t make sense. He said he slept with me because he thought it was the kind thing to do and he went on a rant about how I ignored all of his advice. I still don’t believe he wasn’t attracted to me. Could he have said it as a lie just to hurt me for not “listening” to him? Because he kept blaming me for everything and saying how I ignored all of his advice
