Why do some females’ blame their spouses for them having to work?

I sometimes hear girls’ say my husband makes me work? And I just shake my head , my ex use to say shit like this to me as well , and I would get upset at her and tell her don’t work then , but don’t think you are going to have access to my hard earned money whatsoever, because your spending habits are out of control, so if you don’t want to work as a team with me , you are best to go find yourself a rich man and let him take care of your spending ass. My ex had a serious spending habit , and didn’t know how to budget money whatsoever, To her everything was on sale , I can’t stand girls’ that do not know the concept of money and bills , that think she deserves to be catered to at all times , and spends money like it grows on trees. And when money gets tight she blames her man for not making more money like he is supposed to work 2 full time jobs to support her spending habits , I told my ex to take a hike because I am finding a girl
That wants to work with me , not against me. Have you ever experienced a relationship like this before?

I think it's partly due to our society training women to be dependent on "their man" and very competitive with other women. It has always existed to some extent. But with the advent of social media the competition between younger women trying to live up to a fake lifestyle has gotten out of control. I've seen a lot of women with buying addiction who can't wait for that next dopamine hit every time they open a new package that arrives in the mail.

No, I've never had to put up with that. It's one of the first things I screen for when I meet a woman. Does she have a sense of fair play and pride in paying her own way at least once in a while. Contrary to a lot opinions I see here on GAG, most women I meet pass that test. They tend to be healthy adult personalities who are just as likely to buy me a drink or pick up the tab entirely as they are to accept me paying the tab. But I also won't allow Instagram or TikTok "Barbies" anywhere near me. I think other guys are attracted to the wrong women.

The simple answer js that to many women will not accept responsibility, for their own actions and they want to blame anyone else for their poor choices and or bad decisions. Than they fall back on the female demon of choice, it is a mans fault that they are in a situation.

It is my husband fault I have to work, when she wanted to work. Than she finds that she does not like working, but is now in a situation where she has to stay working.

Wife was a homemaker, addicted to shopping. Had many credit cards, maxed them out and when she found out that her husband was can not be made to incur her debt. She had to go to work, blames husband for not making enough money. Takes no responsibility for her actions of spending money she did not have, gets mad that she could not make the husband responsible for her debt and even if she leaves him after bankrupting the family. She is still responsible for her own debt, but she will blame the husband for her having to work to pay off her own debt.

You make good fit for my cheapspakes ex wife Karen. She was so cheap if she couldn't get for free her cheap ass Karen would drive to dollar tree.

If I got my self a Starbucks I would a big huge Karen face yelling in my face yelling we had coffee at home and how much we would be saving. On top of that she was a Christian religious fanatic complain to me about when I stay with my buddies play video games when I didn't want to join a Bible study.

On top of that she was also a clean neat freak each and every time I grab soda or candy rapper left it on the table my ex would complain. My ex Karen would keep track about our spending and called bills our priority. She was boring would never do nothing fun my ex love attending our small towns free entertainment. Friends and family would give us free furniture and made me look bad as a husband because to my ex wife Karen to her the more money we accumulate at the back the better. The problem is that most people simply don't do this. They pick partners based almost solely on attraction and infatuation instead, because, in the beginning, that's the most exciting thing to do. I worked at a hospital and it was a female oriented place. I got to know many nurses and therapists. I do not know why but there was a definite pattern that a large percentage of these women were married to bums. They used to complin that they were married to guys that could not hold a job or guys that were trying to get some back injury scam going or else they were big boozers. These women made good money and were the breadwinner in their households.
