Why do some women do the work of a wife but only at the price of a "girlfriend"?

I see girlfriends packing up their boyfriend's lunch boxes, giving him the biggest piece of meat, washing his underwear, doing his housework so he doesn't have to, picking up his dry cleaning. what are these women trying to prove? If my boyfriend wanted me to do all this shit for him : my first reply to him would be : "hun, we aren't married. sorry but I love you but I'm not your wife." If you want me to do all these things for you , marry me and I will do them all.

I think its just a stupid deal to do all these wifey duties for a man who won't officially commit to you.

Talk about commitment is nothing if you're unwilling to sign the marriage certificate.
