Sigh … this question comes up SO many times , I feel like I should copy and paste.

Answering purely for me , NO. Why? because , it cannot work. A relationship DEMANDS tactile contact , from holding hands , to hugs and cuddles and more besides. A relationship also demands face to face communication , not video chat no matter how much that’s thought to be a substitute… it isn’t

Never say never but likely not. Just due to the fact that it takes a lot of work and trust. If it was someone I’ve been with long term maybe. But likely not with someone random. Again… never say never but not likely

Only if there were a silver lining in place that was a solidified thing, not just daydreams, hopes and wishes. It couldn’t be for any longer than a year either.

When I was young and single, I had 2 LTRs. Though good while it lasted, neither one lasted more than a few months, If I were ever in a situation to do that again, I think I would pass.

Yes and I did, twice.
My first boyfriend moved overseas and after 6 months I found out he was cheating not even a full week after he left.
The second boyfriend did the exact same.
I wouldn’t do it again.

Not unless there is a real possibility of it becoming a real relationship in the foreseeable future. I can't imagine committing to someone without some kind of solid and realistic plan to move together.

I can understand everyone thinks their situation will be different. It's a HUGE stress. And given all the other normal stresses it's leverage on all them as well. It just doesn't work.

I am currently in one. The idea is to set clear goals and objectives. Communication and trust are very VERY important. Things like when to close the distance and expectations are important to a successful LDR

At this age is a BIG NO for me. If I was in my early 20s I would probably sign up for it due to lack of maturity and knowledge on how relationships work. But you do you.

That depends on how long we're together before the distance becomes a factor and it also depends on how long the distance will be a factor. There needs to be a plan in place with a firm end date
