Break up. You both are not right for each other. You broke the foundation of your relationship by cheating on him. It's a terrible thing to do and he seems to have no control on his anger which makes him scary. Choking you sounds really disturbing. I don't know why you put up with his abusive behaviour and he put up with your cheating. It's not healthy or normal. It's not love. Just leave him and don't ever go back.

You are best to leave him for good , especially if he is putting his hands on you that way.
