I think she gets it. I certainly don’t “talk in code” and I pretty much say what I mean without beating around the bush. I DID have girlfriends in the past who tried to “read meaning” into what I was saying but they didn’t realize that “what I mean is what I said” and nothing else. One girlfriend I had thought I was trying some weird “power play” when I had to get home and get some sleep because I had to get up early for work. She thought I was pulling some weird mind game on her, but no, I had to get up early and I needed to get to bed. Anyway aside from that, she was a great person.

She's probably been dating guys that are assholes because she has a type that often fits the demographic of duchebags and as a result keeps getting into bad relationships. Disagree with the video because it generalizes to a degree that is inaccurate (especially to the men I've met). Men are not inherently or objectively honest just by dint of being male. I also think the video is a mischaracterization of women - that's not how a woman thinks, that's how an insecure person thinks (no shade to her, my point is just that lots of men think similarly).
