when a man falls in love for the first time and never truly forgets her and can wish she's his wife when he's already married to another etc. do u think its true? this is also a reason i dont date

I think it is really oversold. I'd say that not forgetting is more like men will look for women who match the qualities of his first successful relationship the best.

This probably also applies to women but in my experience, the breakup after the first successful relationship is the hardest to get through. My first relationship only lasted a year and it took me several years to finally move on from it.

I hear that men take longer to get past breakups but I haven't looked much into it.

It's never sweet as the first time, you can look for a virgin, it's not hard to find one when you are 16. Men are more territorial, so they less likely to want a lover who is owned by someone else.
