I don't find the results particularly surprising. But this is an interesting question because when we truly break down its meaning, the reality is remarkably sad.

A partner wanting lots of sex is presumably someone who wants their pleasures satisfied, regardless of its impact on their partner. It is inherently selfish.

Maintain a relationship with someone who is less interested in sex; presumably for reasons not related to infidelity, demands a higher level of personal respect for another's boundaries. It shows self control at the expense of one's desire.

The poll results show the majority of people (roughly two thirds) find that respecting someone's boundary is "worse" for a relationship.

Never had sex, but thinking about doing it at least once daily is crazy and terrifying. What if your libido dies for a week, and suddenly your partner starts sulking and giving you the cold shoulder because of the sudden change? 💀
I would rather not be in a relationship if it meant having to get them off 24/7. Maybe a little sex every few days/weeks would be nice, but not every day. I'd rather have a relationship where my partner respects my boundaries, and vice versa.

I feel like with sex it's a lot more sacred compared to masturbation (But that's just my view honestly LOL)
Since sex is such a vulnerable and close thing to do, doing it so often might lessen the secret meaning/feeling of it. I used to masturbate to feel happy and good, but nowadays, when I do it so often, it just feels like a depressing chore. I'd literally hate to feel that way toward sex and deprive my partner of sexual intimacy.
Since I haven't had sex, I can't say for certain if I'd prefer masturbation over sex. But I feel that if sex is truly as nice/fun as people make it out to be, I'd prefer it over masturbation to a limit.

In some other way of saying it, it's like eating a nice juicy steak. For all your life, you've rarely had this steak (say once a month or three times a year). Sometimes you crave it, but you don't seek it again because whenever you somewhat deprive yourself of having it, it feels a lot more special when you do have it.

Caving in and buying that steak every time you crave it could eventually kill the reason why the steak was so special in the first place. The steak is nice, and it's just as flavorful as it was before... But then, what makes it stand out from your regular meals you have every other day? Now it's just part of your regular list of food, which doesn't feel as special when having it.

Ofc using food analogy is stupid when comparing it to sex, but in some way, I hope it makes sense? I just feel that having sex should be more than just getting down and dirty and releasing mental/emotional stress. When you have sex every day, then what's the difference between that and masturbation at an emotional/mental level? Sure, you have a partner who is helping you get off... but what else?

You'll get too used to it, and it might lose its intimate value over time. But ofc this is just my current perspective on it all. I'm sure if I ever partake in this kind of intimacy, my view would probably change.
