Just something he said to me todayđđđ
If any guy in my family had the triad they would wonder if their wife screwed something up and is trying to cover for it with the heavy meal, free loving and unhampered access to the sports channel... OR they would wonder if either he or she was having a massive health crisis.
It's a weekly thing. The last thing I screwed up was forgetting to turn the slow cooker on with the beef.
I wouldn't think of that as winning. I don't want a girly girl serving me and depending on me or seeing me as some kind of hero in shining armor. I don't need to be in charge I don't need an oversize child to take care of. I'd rather have a friend to go through life with. Every time I see a man get off on being a big shot or looking heroic it seems low IQ and cringe as hell to me. It's chimpanzee behavior, if that's all a relationship with a woman can offer than the hell with it. So, not interested and I don't give a shit about sportsball either, I never did even once in my life. I think it's time we stated asking these questions and doing some introspection.
If my life is based solely on what I receive from my wife, I will feel horribly incomplete. I want to know that she is happy with having me as her husband and that she feels she is getting what she needs from our marriage. And beyond my marriage, I want my life to have a significant component of public service.
If I have all of that. . . THEN I will feel that I have succeeded.
@Dongie I don't do things for public recognition. It just makes me feel good.
As a wife that's everything I would do. I'm a very nurturing person in relationships. You know cook, clean, laundry, give them love, you know all of that
My aim here is to sprinkle some relationship wisdom with a playful twist! Sounds like your partner is an absolute gem and youâre having a blast! You've definitely hit the jackpot in the love lottery. Relationships thrive on appreciation and mutual enjoyment, and it seems like you're living the dream. 😉 Keep cherishing these moments and those Sunday roasts. That love you feel is the real MVP! 🏆â€ïž

I wouldn't care about the sports stuff honestly. As long as she puts effort into the relationship and gives me breathing space to do my own thing, I'm a happy camper. A relationship requires effort on both sides. We can both cook each other our favourite meals occasionally. We both can both do our part cleaning the place. We can both make love to each other because we both want to be physically intimate with each other (it shouldn't be seen as a chore or service). Etc.
No not at all. I mean what's he do for you.
I'm more interested in what kinda Dinosaur is coming out of that roast beef
âJust something he said to me todayâ
Well youâve got yourself a good man who truly appreciates you, youâve truly won at life too by the looks of things. God Bless You Both !
My wife cooks me a good Sunday dinner , makes love with me in the morning , and lets me watch my favorite programs / play video games (whether together cuddling or me solo by myself) then yeah I would feel like I won in life too.
Again, God Bless You Both ! Happy for both of you !
It's about 50% there.
But I would not want her to live for me only. She has own ambitions and wishes... I'd need to give my own contributions for her in a similar rate.
Yeah but its Sunday. Family day.
Ah hah. So you mean she's only nice with me on Sundays? đ
Well if you've spent all week at work and doing chores in the evening
I would assume we have died. Not that I watch sport ball and I have had lots of Sunday sex. What has NEVER happened is having a girlfriend (never married) ever cook a meal for âusâ. They didnât cook. So I must assume if a girlfriend is cooking us a meal, we died and apparently I didnât get the walk through Hell I assumed.
Yeah, not something I ever hold my breath for in my relationship world. I have a better chance of finding an unclaimed winning lottery ticket on the ground.
Not sure about a roast every Sunday. Mix it up a little. But yeah, her actions would demonstrate love / caring that would naturally inspire the same feelings in me. Taking satisfaction and joy in taking care of each other is the way it's supposed to work.
Sunday is the fixed Sunday roast day so that could be anything roast beef, roast ham, roast chicken, roast duck etc. There are 6 other days to mix it up.
Why is Sunday a roast day? Who made that up, LOL. What about burgers on the grill? A nice tuna steak and some mussels? Stew? Soup? Biriyani rice?
Thats a Saturday or weekday. Its a British thing or European thing. Think about Thanksgiving dinner but not as large every Sunday.
Interesting. My mother came from a Scottish family. My grandparents were immigrants to the USA. My mother made roast beef every Sunday without fail. And it had to be cooked until it was gray and no longer resembled meat, LOL. Hence my knee jerk reaction to roast beef on Sundays. I always thought it was due to my father's very limited diet. Meat and potatoes guy he was. Maybe it was her Scottish family upbringing.
They also liked "boiled dinners". Toss everything in a pot and boil it to death. The only two spices on the planet for them were salt and pepper.
@gwendoline He should ONLY feel that way IF he returns the same care, giving, and love to her, because he FEELS that kind of care, giving and love for her.
THEN both of their lives would be something they BOTH won in life.
I hate watching sportsball, and I don't particularly care for roast beef. Is she kinky?
You like chicken or lamb or pork? Even fish?
There's more to being married than cooking and sex. Being there for each other when it really matters is what is important.
That being said, sex is the morning is very rewarding.
nope, most of that doesn't do much for me. I want to sleep in the morning, the roast sounds ok, and sportsball is boring.
But she sounds like a good woman for someone.
Will she let me be in control of the TV remote control?
No sportsball is whatever sports is basically on that i care about. Americans love sports.
I want a woman who is her own person, where love is an unconditional value for each other, free of expectations. Someone who could flip me off and make me smile and say âwowâ
Not some obedient sex slave who thinks her worth is defined by my expectations.
Iâd hire a prostitute if I wanted services in exchange
I don't watch much in the way of sports, but the rest is an excellent start. The main other thing a man wants at home is peace. And that doesn't cost much.
lol there's more to life and marriage than that. marriage is hard work most days. not this rainbow and sunshine.
I was raised to work hard and to make hay while the sun shines and find beauty in the rainbow.
sounds like you were raised to have no goals of your own.
Lol of course i have goals of my own. I living my goals
I can follow the first two points, but the last one. Letting me watch what I want to watch. Here we both just watch what we want, and watch together if it's the same. I can't imagine a partner trying to prohibit me watching for example a football match lol
It's got to make him feel really comfortable and content for sure and hope is a guy who is just as loving to his wife.
Your husband is a luck man. My wife would, but we're too busy chasing our young children around all day.
@BCRanger10 That's so wonderful.. Enjoy it while they are little. My husband and I are enjoying ours!
@Caroline91 how old are they? You can even just give a general range.
@BCRanger10 2 and 6. Both girls. Yours?
@Caroline91 5 and almost 2 (twins)
@BCRanger10 Oh my! You guys have your hands full. I love watching my husband with his little girls and they adore their daddy. It puts a smile on my face. You sound like a proud husband and father. Wish you all well.
@Caroline91 thank you and you as well đđđ
... Who is "u" and why are they being allowed to watch "sportsball"?
Your wife has never sent you off to enjoy yourself?
My wife doesn't have to do any of that stuff for me to know that I won't in life. I knew that the day that she said yes to my marriage proposal.
for the vast majority of men this is the dream wife.
I'm a vegetarian, I actually don't have a wife, and I rarely watch sportsball.
Gay?
No, of course not!
No girl wanted me... or at least no girl that I wanted.
And she doesnât enjoy that herself sports and cooking and she doesnât get love back. Why isnât she saying that she won the big prize?
Even if it was 2/3 without the roast I would feel like a winner honestly
I donât need a lot to be happy as long as the purpose is there
Your husband is a very lucky man! So am I, as my wife does all of that for me too. And I treat her better than gold, because she is more precious than gold.
Haha, I would feel very blessed to have a woman like that.
That would be nice, but there would be much more required. I'd take someone that actually cared about me and with which we had a good relationship, good communication, and common interests over the one you described any day.
If I had a wife and liked sportsball then yes.
It's nice but sports is fun but I like doing other things also
Gwendoline I don't have a wife. I'm straight.
Would you make a Sunday roast every Sunday?
Just a traditional thing. Historical and religious. Basically after church you have a large feast meal with a good cur of meat, like eating fish on a Friday which I still do.
Plenty of days to be unregimented. Many Lutherans and Anglicans don't eat meat on a Friday
That's nice, but in order to be really happy, i have to see her happy too which means doing the things that she loves too!
Both couple should be happy in order to claim a real happy family!
Nope that b! tch is cheating and trying to cover her decisions
Obviously not if I was winning i wouldn't have a wife
Sounds amazing! I would switch the sports to reading though
What more can a man ask for? The only thing missing is a robust crop of children from the beautiful wife.
I know I wouldnât complain
Only if she was on gag afterwards chatting on here instead of bothering me LOL
D**N SKIPPY, especially if she's a buxom blonde !!!
No, I feel like I'm about to wake up and be extremely disappointed this was all a dream.
Did your husband log into your account and post this as a flex? haha.
Hell yeah and as much as she spoils me im going to spoil her back
He better if I did all that
Yes sounds good :)
I think most guys would love that
He definitely appreciates that.
Not necessarily.
How long have you been married?
Two years.
Sure but I care little for sportsball
Yup, that is the perfect wife.
Pretty much; you damn Jake!!
I don't have a wife 😔
yup you've made it
Im good with that.
Absolutely. The definition
What's the catch? There's always a catch?
Triple YAHTZEE !
Definitely...
Absolutely yes 🥳🥰
That sounds ideal.
I would say so
