Do you believe it’s something that happens more than once in life (romantic love) or does the intensity of feeling decrease subsequently.
I mean love not crush/infatuation and how do you know what you are feeling is love?

Love isn't something you can compare its something you grow. It would be a mistake to try and compare love for one person to love for another. There are many different types of love. its human nature to fall in and out of it like a wave flows threw water. Example you don't love your parents like you do a partner but that doesn't mean you love either more or less just different kinds. What makes you love your parents less is spending less time with them working toward common goals. To believe in true love is to be able to experience it, so I'd say a person can fall in love as many times as they allow themselves to. In my eyes love is growing together rather then apart. Also our ideas of love constantly changing isn't a had thing is how we're able to love more then once.

I've only ever been in love once and that was recent. Started in 2022 with my ex and it ended sadly in 2024. I don't know if I'll ever find a love like him again. I hope I will but I feel like for me it was a once in a lifetime thing.
