Boyfriends upset about the gender of our baby?

This is so immature but I think my boyfriend’s actually upset that we’re going to have a little boy.
Ever since I told him today, he hasn’t really been speaking and before I told him he was all happy and jolly.
Now he’s withdrawing and in a bad mood all day.
He is even yelling at me over small things.
Is it normal for him to be upset over the gender?

Children are the most beautiful thing in the world. Especially when you watch them grow each and every day because of the time and energy that you put into them to become better than you are.

I mean, he should be esthetic.
You should be on cloud 9. My first child was is a boy now a great man 6'7 buff goid looking firemen paramedic the second was a beautiful girl. smart wise beautiful heart but for me it did not matter what gendered is that they were my kids and I had to teach them to be better than me.

That boy ain't right in the head! If indeed he is upset about the gender. Could be something else that has him acting like a child. Ask him.

Then explain to daddy dimwit that a man's sperm determines the sex of a baby. So he is to blame, not you. He is the only one who could have supplied a Y chromosome. Tell him to go whack himself in the balls with a hammer 10 times and punch himself in the face as penance.

Personally, I'd just be happy the baby is healthy regardless of gender.

If I’m being honest men usually want a boy but they won’t say that. I mean he should be happy that he’s going to be a father in general. So not really sure what’s going on there, especially if he was happy in the beginning before finding out the sex of the baby. Maybe he doesn’t want to raise a boy in this world the way things are going for men.
