It is that you shall treat them like street lights or grass outdoors.. nobody cares about them. Because they mean nothing to you anymore, and that is proper and true embodiment of it.

One last thing during that sorting out is, if we cut a relationship with someone suddenly, then obviously there are unfinished topics or discussions. You will live by them indefinitely. Only when we truly grasp them or resolve them that they turn into experience (something of the past) and we naturally move on. So make sure of that too.
